The illustration "3rd circle of Hell" is partly inspired from the epic poem,
The Divine Comedy. Dante’s Inferno is the first part of this poem, which describes the poet’s imaginary journey through the nine circles of Hell.
The Third Circle is for the souls of the gluttonous — those who overindulged in food, drink, or pleasure (uh oh). I thought it was for those people who cut me off on the freeway exit after I've been politely waiting my turn for 10 minutes
